1 Ballard Locks
The Lake Washington Ship Canal’s Ballard Locks are a series of locks. They have a botanical garden and a museum/center filled with fun maritime displays, also to their impressive, camera-ready architecture. They even have hotspots for underwater exploration! 2 Sky View Observatory
The Sky View Observatory is one of Seattle’s lesser-known tourist attractions. It is less crowded and less expensive than places like the Space Needle. If you’re a chocoholic, Theo Chocolate will make you die and go to heaven. The factory is in an old brick building where the aroma of chocolate wafts down the entire block, So, whether you’re walking or driving, follow your nose till it leads you to the land of opportunity. One is a guided tour of the chocolate-making facilities, and the other is a candy shop where you can stock up on fudges and truffles until you’re out of fudges and truffles. Some of it is technically perfect but topically absurd, while others are just strange, funky, or indecipherable. The majority of the paintings on display are difficult to describe. 6 Seattle Central Library
You might be surprised to see a library on a list of Seattle must-sees, but the Seattle Central Library is a truly remarkable facility. For starters, its architecture is stunning, combining steel and glass in a geometric zig-zag that must be seen to be believed. It stands 11 stories tall, towering over nearby buildings like the massive landmark that it is. When you step inside, the awe continues. Each floor has something new and exciting to discover.
